Echinacea x 'Tiki Torch'
Tiki Torch Coneflower Zones: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Another great coneflower hybrid originating from Terra Nova Nursery, Tiki Torch has bright pumpkin orange flowers with rusty cones and spreading, down-turned petals. Flowering stems are upright but well-branched. Plants grow to around 30" tall and 2' wide. As with all of the coneflowers, flowers start out intensely colored and fade over time.

They want full sun, good drainage, and average to dry BASIC soil. Acidic soils and winter moisture would be bad. Mid/late-summer, dry-growing, flowering companions could include Butterfly Weed, Pink Muhly Grass, Coreopsis, Achillea, Russian Sage, Black-eyed Susans, and Blue Love Grass. Best planted in late spring through very early fall.
