Polemonium reptans
Jacob's Ladder Zones: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Jacob's Ladder is a dainty perennial for rich, moist soil in light shade. Eighteen-inch plants are covered with clusters of open bell-shaped pale lavender flowers in April and May. Leaflets are arranged in horizontal pairs along the stem resembling rungs of a ladder. Possible companions include Foamflower, Phlox, Celandine Poppy, and Virginia Bluebells. This is one of the loveliest of all the spring wildflowers. Cat# 1175
